    WakeBoarding at CWC

One of the highlights of going to CWC is the wakeboarding.. It is almost the same as surfing or snow boarding, but here, you are being pulled by a cable.. And unlike these activities, the environment here is controlled so you get perfect conditions all the time.

The wakeboarding facility here is said to be #1 in the world. and the cheapest also as compared to other countries.

    Hourly rate: P125.00 + P40.00 (vest & helmet)
    half-day: P370.00 + P90.00 (vest & helmet)
    whole day:P610.00 + 140.00 (vest & helmet)

What do you think is the special delicacy in Pili?? Isn't it obvious? Of course it's the Pili Nut. So don't miss buying from the local souvenier shop. They have haney glazed pilis which sell from P35.00 for the small pack to a P100.00 for the large pack. They have pili polvoron, pili cakes, pili tarts, and all kinds of sweets with pili nuts in them. :)

    For Beginners: Knee Boarding

    by zoe_girl18 Updated May 7, 2007

For beginners like us, it is best advised to try knee boarding first. This will give you a feel on the speed, the maneuvers and how capable you are of holding on to the handle bar. I tell you, it may look easy but once you are in there, it's hard! I got blisters all over my hand form holding on to the handle bar.. But once you get used to it, the adrenalin rush is just too addicting that you want to try again and again :)

What you should remember: always keep you head low at the starting point. Once you hit the water, you can straighten yourself up. Make sure you pass by the middle of the bouys located at the corners of the lake, this is to avoid changing the tension of the rope pulling you. And when things get out of control.. just let go to avoid accidents :)
