Cheaper Transportation from Legazpi to CWC

The usual van/taxi rental rate from Legazpi to Naga (CamSur) is around P2,500-P3,000 which is too much if there are less than 10 people in your group. A cheaper alternative is to get a jeep from your hotel to the Terminal then get a GT Van from there to Naga which costs around P150 each. Senior citizens and students get a discount if an ID is presented. Just tell the driver that you are going to CWC and he will drop you off at the entrance of CWC (Camsur Watersports Complex). From there, get a tricycle (P10 each) to go to the clubhouse if you want to go straight to the wake park or to the lobby to check in.

If you intend to go back to Legazpi, just go to the GT Terminal in front of SM Naga. You can go to SM Naga by boarding a tricycle from inside CWC then board a jeep in front of the CWC compound. Ask the jeep driver if he will pass by SM.

Free Shuttle around the complex / or to Naga

If you want to go to ecovillage from the sports complex or vice versa, just ask the front desk and their shuttle can pick you up.
If you want to go to the city for dining / shopping and whathaveyous, just ask for the schedule of the shuttle going to the city and they can always give you a lift. Shuttle waits for one hours and goes back to the complex.
These are all free of charge.

Sabang Pier

Manila to Naga City
Transportation: Bus (Cubao Bus Terminal - Peñafrancia Travel & Tours, check for the trip schedules, they have a few in the morning but it's mostly at night)
No. of hours: 8
Fare: Php700 (around US$15) as of September 2008

Naga City to Sabang Pier
Transportation: Bus/Van/Jeep (Trip schedules: 4am-7am)
No. of hours: 2
Fare: Php50 (around US$1) as of September 2008

Sabang Pier to Guijalo Port, Caramoan
Transportation: Motorized boat (Trip schedules: 6am, 8am, 11am)
No. of hours: 2
Fare: Php120 (around US$2-3) as of September 2008
Tip: During low tide, boats are unable to drop off the passengers directly at the port. You need to hire a small boat to bring you to the port and pay around Php20-50 (it will take less than 5 minutes). So don't panic if you see boatmen excitedly moving towards your boat... it's lowtide and that becomes an opportunity for them to earn extra money.

Guijalo Port, Caramoan to Town proper (aka Centro)
Transportation: Tricycle
No. of hours: 15-20 minutes
Fare: Php10-50 (around US$1) as of September 2008 (try to haggle)

Tricycle is the main transportation in Caramoan. You may stick to one tricycle driver for the rest of your trip and just negotiate for all your travel fares.

*** Same way going back to Manila ***
