Popular Nightlife | Other Nightlife Tips | All Tips (8) For a total Corregidor experience, don't chicken out on the Malinta Tunnel night tour. It is during this trip that people can explore the laterals or the inner tunnels. The guide took us to the laterals where the hospitals are and the spots where the japanese soldiers committed kamikaze during the retaking of Corregidor in 1945. He showed us parts of charred bones of the Japanese soldiers and broken bottles of sake.
According to our guide, spirit questors and psychics havesaid hundreds of psychics are needed to free the poor, brave souls that are still trapped within the tunnel walls. During part of the trip, we closed all our lights to experience how it was during the height of the war. TOTAL, MIND-NUMBING DARKNESS!!! Luckily, the spirits there did not deign to make an appearance that night (Maybe they are so used to tourists, it's all "ho-hum" to them by now).
Note: crouch low on tight spots and look out! Dalawang beses ako nauntog, buti na lang may helmet, hehe!

Nightlife is quite limited in this islands. The staff invites guests to the Recreation Center for a round of videoke. We passed on this one but we were sorely tempted to do one round.

At the end of the night tour, the guide will stop by the Eternal Flame Monument for a view of the stars and the lights from Baywalk (Manila Bay).
I regretted not bringing a mat (banig). Bring one so you could lie down and gaze at the the wide, wide open sky. Dazzling! The best free show at night courtesy of Mother Nature!
As a bonus, a firefly decided to visit and be part of the tour for a little while. It was cute and quite freaky at the same time when it parked on a friend's elbow and refused to budge for a full minute :P Theme: Other

Well, it's not being offered to daytour package of course so if you want to have a very memorable time at Corregidor Island, try to take advantage of their Overnight package especially if you are on group and doesn't mind to feel scary a bit.Of course, if you are a real adventurous person, I highly recommend you to their overnight package. You should be at battery hearns by 5:30pm to take advantage of the beautiful sunset then afterwards, the tour guide will direct you to the original street where the morgue and hospital are located. They will tell you how it has been abandoned. How sometimes their car would just stopped in front of the bldg and won't start. Take advantage also to get lots of pictures when you are there and don't look at them right away because you might found something... Theme: Other

1. Dining at Corregidor Inn's restaurant
2. Videoke singing and dancing maybe (while singing, hehe).
3. Night lateral visit (Malinta Tunnel)
4. Ghost-hunting.

This is were my friends did their little thing in (NOT SURE WHAT THEY DID)… but it later produced a bottle of tanduay rum and a plate of litson kawali, I'm sure it was something wholesome... haha

we availed of the sun spotting package, this includes sunset and sunrise viewing, night visit at 1000-bed hospital in Malinta Tunnel and exploration of the Japanese Tunne all for 100php!
