Malacanang de Sugbu, Cebu City
Also known as Malacanang in the south. Malacanang Palace houses the seat of power but I don't know if the power also seats in Malacanang in the south. It is now a building of Cebu Port Authority I think. Unlike the Malacanang of the North in Laoag City, the building is more modern and definitely not a museum.
You can just take photo of the building outside the gate it's prohibited to go further inside.
Malacanang sa Sugbu is translated in English as Malacanan Palace in Cebu. This is the residence of the President of the Philippines whenever there is an official visit. It was the old Customs Bureau in Cebu that was transformed into what it is now.
Most of the furnishings of the Malacanang sa Sugbu were donations from various businesses in the city. This resulted to a minimal cost spent by the government.
When you come visit Cebu City, have a look at this building. See if you can enter the premises.
