Ice Castle

Ice Castle is the place to go in Cebu when you think of halo-halo. Yummy! It has branches practically anywhere in the city. You can find one in SM, Ayala & Parkmall to name a few.

Favorite Dish: Delectable halo-halo.

Lechon is a pride of Cebu. CNT Lechon is the most popular offering this sumptuous dish. Best eaten when newly cooked. My favorite is the crunchy skin. This place is just across the popular mall, SM-Cebu. You can also order whole to bring as pasalubong back home. Just order in advance.

Favorite Dish: Yummy Lechon.

Manang Bebot Eatery: Yummy Seafood!

Manang Bebot Eatery

We were a big group of 56 persons so finding clean & cheap food is vital to us. What we did was to buy raw food at the Bantayan market & let Manang Bebot cook them for us. We just gave her a service fee of P1T for 2 meals. This save us a lot considering the enormous charges billed to us if we ate at the resort we were staying. Manang Bebot can be located at the back of Yooneek Beach Resort. She cooks delicious food at your request.

Favorite Dish: Delicious seafood.

Santiago Bay Resort Resto: Below Par Resto

Santiago Bay Resort Resto

Santiago Bay Resort Restaurant serves expensive, unsatisfactory dishes. A piece of chicken cost P80. We tried looking for another place to eat but to no avail. It's hard to find a decent eatery in Camotes Island so we just settle for the resort in-house resto. It's better if the food is pricey but delicious but this is not the case. The service is also poor & slow.

El Gecko Restobar: Great Food - Ice Cold Beer - Warm Welcome

Found a place in the heart of Uptown district in Cebu City, El Gecko Restobar. A popular haunt of expats and locals with great international food, the cheapest beer in town, 30 peso and fantastic people. Multi screen TVs playing music DVDs and very welcoming staff!! I was new to the city and the regulars helped me with everything I wanted to know. Accommodation, places to see, etc. Big shout out to the owner, Marc, who even jumped in a cab with me and took me to a club. He stayed for a couple of beers until I met some people then went off back to work. Amazing bloke!!! Check it out!!!

Favorite Dish: Best Pizza in Town !

Titay's Rosquillos is the best in Cebu. It has been around since I remembered. Tourists always buy goodies to bring home as pasalubongs. This establishment serves as a brief stopover for buses going to Cebu City and North Cebu (Bogo, Hagnaya & Maya). They also serve hot coffee, instant noodle, various bread and goodies for the hungry and weary travellers.

Favorite Dish: Rosquillos coz it's the best!

I guess this restaurnt is well known in Cebu with their food and the way worker entertain you. If you order rice one girl wearing Filipina native dress bringing this a li'l big bowl holding it like a slingbag with rice on it then scoop the rice in front of you with a cute smile. The restaurant is full outside and inside that you'll see others are waiting for someone to finish eating and go out. Korean, Chinese, American and as will Filipinos i saw it all here.

Favorite Dish: "shrimp" i dont eat much seafood but i like the shrimp here!

no time to take a pic nside was really hungry!.lol

The restaurant is more on grill so you'll see it all in grilled at the menu but it taste good with nice sauce plus the worker are friendly "they keep smiling" good job for the waitress huh!. And its beside only at the hotel so you dont need to drive just to get to the restaurant.

Favorite Dish: Grilled Chicken!...We're really hungry coz we haven't eat anything before we leave there in Manila then from the airport looking for a nice and not expensive hotel but the tired and hungry i felt fade after we order and looking around at the restaurant found this 'AQUARIUM' inside of that is "Chicken" and we thought its a fish!..see it for ur self!..haha

Conching's Manok Bisaya

Conching's Manok Bisaya is one of the popular eateries in town. They have the best tasting native chicken, especially if eaten with puso, rice wrapped in leaves. No one can compare with their specialty manok bisaya. It's the best in Cebu.

Favorite Dish: Yummy manok bisaya grilled to perfection.

We ordered noodles, rice & drinks for our lunch. Price a bit expensive. Noodles not satisfactory. I would not recommend this eatery. Better to bring your own provisions to this place coz prices jack up. But what is lacking for food is very well-compensated by the beauty of the falls. Cottages price excluding food is P300.
