National anthem played during the last movie

If you intend to watch the last show at the movie theatre, do take note that the national anthem will be played in the theatre before the start of the show. You are required to stand up when the national anthem was played.It was really cheap watching a movie in Cebu, it cost from P80 - P120 per show per person.

Prayer session in the evening

If you happened to be in a shopping centre or supermarket at about 6pm. You'll notice that most of the activities almost come to a standstill. As most of the philippinos are christians, the shopping centre will broadcast the prayers and the people will stop whatever things that they do and recite the prayers softly.

Avoid wearing sandals when attending special occasion in the local community.Don't use the common sign of OK In the local community, it means money. You may use the new sign OK. This is the thumbs- up sign which has been commonly seen on television.

Begging for money.

There are ship operators from Iligan City, Cagayan de Oro City going to Cebu City like WG&A, Cebu Ferries Companies. Where I ligan don't have an airport so we have to take a ship going to Cebu and besides it's the safest and the fastest in going to Cebu City. Anyhow, when the ship will almost arrive in the pier, you can see "Bajao's" as they called were begging for money and they will jump out directly in their small boats to get that coins you give to them. Most of them have babies with them in the boat. Any amount is graciously okey with them.
