gabyne Says:  There's not much else to do apart from diving. But the diving's good (altough there weren't many different diving spots in 1998); although this was before the big El Nino year. I have no idea how much the area was affected by this natural desaster.

The Last Filling Station

On the "main street" on Panagsama beach you can find the Last Filling Station with a perfect view, friendly staff, and a very good menu. Prices might be slightly higher than in some of the other places, but who cares when a meal with beer is still less than 3 USD?

Favorite Dish: They have red and green thai curry, that taste almost not at all like thai curry, but it's still very good!

Roxy Music Pub

They have a pool table, good music, fair Italian food and cheap beer and friendly staff and costumers. It's one of the favorite meeting places for the foreigners working in Moalboal (diving u know).

And if you're lucky the two very charming young girls, Gloria and Rose, are still working there!

Dress Code: Anything - just wear something, don't show up without a t-shirt in the evening.

Warnings and Dangers

Snakes on wheels

Matthewstanford 20 reviews

No not the snakes in the road but the ones that try and charge you P80 to take you from the bus stop to Panagsama beach when you have just paid that to get from Cebu city on the bus. Start walking and they will soon knock 30 off the price. Or do what I did and walk all the way.........it takes about half an hour.
