Balangiga karaoke bar

I think this is the only Karaoke bar right now within Balangiga, means you don't have any choice of going out for some drinks and snacks. Not bad, they serves well! Enjoy singing and have fun.

Fishes at Balangiga market

What to buy: Any seafoods freshly arrived from the sea and the BLUE MERLIN fish, this place is known for this fish catching, it is on season around March to May are those blue merlin season, means that if you are on this place that months for sure you will not miss to see these from those many local fishersmans that just walk from the port to the market daily hanging big fishes on their shoulder.

Well, that was january when we visited this place, unluckily to see any blue merlin fish, it happened to have that fish even out of the season but very FEW and rare.

What to pay: For sure cheaper than in Manila and even more cheaper than in Tacloban ( the nearest city )

Balangiga shore

Since Balangiga town lies near the shore, you will surely see these place on the photo once you are here, many houses build there in the past few years and many local residents doesn't care to clean thier area, garbage are sometimes can be found in some corner, that is why now it is the result of becoming polluted.
