The restaurant has a great view - the rice terraces. You can just sit at the balcony and enjoy your meal while admiring the spectacular rice terraces right in front of you. The restaurant serves a variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner - they also serve snacks, sandwiches, salads and soups. We took our lunch here and after our long walk we came back here for tea. It's really a cosy place to hang out. The waitresses here are patient and cheerful.
We can even leave our luggages with them when we did a short tour around Banaue.
Favorite Dish: People's Rice - recommended by the waiter and hmmmm.. a good meal. Rice (purplish kind) served with chopsuey and a slice of fried chicken. Comes with a bowl of asparagus soup. A banana as dessert.
Price : 100pesos

We had our lunch here and we came back for tea. Place is clean and has a beautiful view of the rice terraces. A variety of choice in the menu - for breakfast/lunch/dinner/snack. You can either sit at the balcony to have your food or sit at the tables inside the restaurant. Good place to hang out if you are waiting to board your bus to Manila. The people here are friendly and courteous.
We were allowed to leave our luggages here while we went on a short tour round the village, at no charge.
We also packed a set of sandwiches for our journey to Manila. Cost per set 45pesos
Favorite Dish: A big serving of pancake filled with smashed bananas. Very filling indeed. Served with a dish of honey for added flavour. Cruchy bite, sweet taste... delicious!

Buffet Breakfast serving locally made longanisa and other traditional Filipino breakfast food is the best. Served with tomatoes, cucumber and fried rice, coupled with hot choco / coffee or tea.

The peoples restaurant is located at the peoples guest house and is a popular place, not just with the people staying at the guest house, but also with other tourists because of the fantastic views the place offer and the locals come and eat here too because of the resonable prices.

NIce rustic lodge set on a mountaintop overlooking the Hapao Rice Terraces. Serves both Filipino and Western dishes. If it's a cold day the staff will light the fireplace for you. This is a great place to stop for lunch when touring the Hapao and Hungduan terraces, which are a further 9km from the restaurant.
Favorite Dish: Ah, the curry is great!

I won't forget the malawach dish, and the place where I had it. It costs P80 and we were a bit wary about ordering such strange food but its great. I haven't eaten all that tomatoes in one sitting. The owner said they once had guests from Israel and they taught her how to make it.

How enticing it is to wash your hands in a hanging sink while viewing the magnificent rice terraces? Only at People's Lodge! Good food, fair prices, nice service by Jonathan (haha!) one of the best places to dine in.

When eating out, find a place where you can savor on real freshly grown veggies. Banaue is obviously known for rice, you can eat as much as you want, because you'll need that extra calories going around the area.
Las Vegas restaurant is apparently the most popular joint here (i think since Cafe Jam closed down?) This is where we would get dinner. I think the place would best suit your filipino taste.
The view from the restaurant is awesome! Don't forget the rushing river behind Las Vegas Restaurant.
Favorite Dish: Nothing I can't eat in here. My friends Steven and Jamie though would feast on chicken adobo and fries. The people were warm although it took a bit of a time for the food to be served.
