There are local stores on make-shift stores at the Bangui Windmills. They sell souvenir items like homemade windmills made of wood and plywood, seashells, necklaces, bracelets, refrigerator magnets, etc.
What to buy: The necklaces are well-made and a steal. My sister and I bought some items for less than $2.00- made of real pearls!
