    Ex-President's table

For visitors who would want to know more of the ex-President (the most controversial in Phil. history), drop by at his museum. On display here are some of the late president's memorabilia - you may take time to read his notes from exile.

Garden - good place to relax and ask for direction
    3 more images

The Garden is next to a river and directly opposite the Batac Church. It is where the Marcos Monument is situated (at a further end).
Good place to relax and get your bearings.

    Residence of Marcos

    Residence - overcrowded with greens
    3 more images

The Residence of Marcos is just beside the Ancestral Home. It is a two storey strong concrete, white building. The surroundings is badly maintained as the Residence is almost covered with untrimmed greens. (See more pictures attached). At the entrance, the porch area, there are some nice seats for you to relax if you want. We were not able to tour this place too as it is also under renovation.

    the Ancestral Home of Marcos
    2 more images

The Ancestral Home of Marcos is near to his residence. The Ancestral home is in two storey - the lower portion is of concert while the upper is of wood. We were not able to take a tour inside the building as the officer told us that it has been closed for renovation. The surroundings of the Ancestral home is cooling due to the many trees and greens that are planted around it.

Marcos Museum & Mausoleum - The Mausoleum

    Entrance to the Mausoleum

Marcos Museum & Mausoleum consists of two rooms , opposite each other, located at the ground floor of the Ancestral Home of Marcos.

    The Mausoleum
    ===========
Entrance is free and there is an officer seated there to unlock the door and guide you in the really dimly lit and cold room with continuous chant of choral music sensurrounding the room. Inside, you can see a waxed figure of Marcos being laid on a raised plateform. It feels rather eerie inside (wonder why it has be set that way?) .. what we did was we just took a round and within seconds we were out of the Mausoleum.
    No photographs allowed.

    Opens 9am-noon and 1pm to 4pm
