Take the RCJ Bus lines to Pagudpud. Their bus terminal is located at Lacson st. España, Manila (Near UST). Last trip is at 8:30pm with fare rate at P550/ person. Travel time usually takes 10-12 hours. Just ask the conductor to drop you off at the Badua Public Market. Then take a tricycle ride to Poalris at P35-40/ trip.

    Big buses to Pagudpud

by cjoan Written May 22, 2007

Going there we rode RCJ. Paid 650 for one way to Laoag. Their buses are clean and stop overs are ok. On our way back, decided to ride Partas..bad choice. We didn't get their Delux buses just the ordinary Aircon buses which I think is the longest bus trip ever! the stop overs are not very good. I would prefer RCJ over Partas ordinary aircon bus. There are buses that goes directly to Pagudpud, one of them is Florida(pink buses).

  • Tricycle Tour

I want to agree about the comment for vincent. Astig siya as well as norvie(his couzin), he really knows how to take care of you and your companions. If your worried that you dont know where to go in pagudpud, just call them and they will be glad to serve you. if you dont have any car, thats ok, they will be glad to use there tricycle as there main transportation over there for the price of 600. please dont bargain anymore, (you would soon realize why is it 600 pesos is enough for them. Also you could request to accompany you to the market or other place(even picks you up to the resort, going to the bus terminals when your going back) ofcoarse add some tip as well. If you have a car with you, you could still negotiate with the price.

    Around Pagudpud

Going to Pagudpud, make a stop over at the Burgos Lighthouse, aka Cape Bojeadour. 15 minutes from the lighthouse, entering Bangui, is the famous Bangui Windmills. Stop at the viewdeck and snap shots!

In Pagudpud, take a whole day trip to go over this paradise. You may either get a tricycle tour for the whole day for P600 (of course you can haggle). I would recommend Kuya Joseph, Polaris' now popular tour guide. He will take you to Kaibigan Falls, Patapat Viaduct, Aqua Grande, Paraiso ni San Anton, Bantay Abot Cave, and the Blue Lagoon.

There is so much to see in Pagudpud, and so much to enjoy.

    Trip to Heaven

From Manila take any bus going to Laoag (daily trips for most buses going North). Or take a 50 min plane ride via Cebu Pacific/PAL. From Laoag, take a mini bus (ordinary) going to Pagudpud. The mini bus station is behind the Provincial Capitol of Laoag (70/pax). It's about 1.30 hour bus ride (no stopovers) passing along the towns of Pasuquin (where they make salt), Bangui (where you can find the Bangui Windmills, and Burgos (the lighthouse). From the town proper, you can ask a tricycle to take you to your resort. Most resorts are lined along the shores of Pagudpud so it should be easy (and cheap).

  • Driving to Pagudpud

by MariaFranciscaDayrit Updated May 2, 2007

We drove by car to Pagudpud from Quezon City, Philippines. Left at 4 AM with full tank. Used EZ Maps to guide us. Had stopover lunch in Vigan, Ilocos Sur. Upon reaching Laoag City, we got a full tank again because we were not sure about gasoline in Pagudpud or nearby. Laoag City is one and a half hours from Pagudpud Saud Beach. We reached Pagugpud at 3 PM. Some 360 kilometers distance.

    Private Ride

If you will bring a car, my best advise is to use a very econimal gas consumption vehicle like a honda city, corolla , vios because you will be spending around 3000 pesos for the fuel back and fort from manila plus the expensive toll fee at NLEX

    Viron Transport to Ilocos Sur

We rode the Viron Deluxe Bus in Cubao Station. Its near Dominion Bus line and in front of Baliwag Transit. We left the station @ exactly 9:30 PM and it went straight to its Manila Station in Blumentritt to pick up other passengers. We left Manila @ 11:30 PM and headed straight to NLEX. The ride was nice and smooth as the driver is very cautious with its passengers. The bus was also very nice with reading lights on every passenger seat and aircon control.

From Super deluxe to mini bus to tricycle :)

by zippee Written Oct 25, 2006

From Pasay or Cubao, take a Partas bus that leaves for Laoag, best time is bet 9-10 pm, it's a 9-10 hours of long bus ride, so if you're sleeping you wouldn't feel it at all. From Laoag, ask a tricyle to bring to the terminal that go directly to Pagudpud, for 1.5 hrs of mini bus ride. tricycle in pagudpud is abound, and it can bring to any resort you wish. :D

    RCJ to Pagudpud

by malangi Written May 1, 2006

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

RCJ has a direct bus going to Pagudpud. At Laong-Laan station, the trip is at 9:00pm for P550.00 (regular aircon). Better to have your reservations, you can call them and reserve seats and pay at the day of your travel. For those coming from QC, RCJ has a new station already at Alimall, Araneta Center, Cubao. Better to bring food for breakfast since the station at Laoag doesnt have any store for breakfast. You'll arrive at Laoag by 7am, then proceed to Pagudpud town proper at around 9:00am.

Partas, St. Joseph and manong joseph's tricycle...

    by traveller_md Written Jul 25, 2005

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

from manila, take the buses bound to laoag. their price ranges are similar, around 650-850pesos/pax. i highly recommend the partas buses. however, their restaurant stopovers are not satisfactory, so just bring your own food/snacks. travel time is from 9-10 hrs.

from laoag, i recommend the buses bound to cagayan (they seem to be more sturdy) and cheap (60-70pesos/pax), rather than the ones bound to pagudpud (80-90pesos). warning: there are no aircon buses to cagayan/pagudpud. but feeling the warm breeze is part of the adventure, right? anyway, the air is far more fresh than the one you've been inhaling for quite some time. travel time is from 1 and 1/2 - 2 hrs max.

ask the driver/conductor to drop you off at the waiting shed just before the pagudpud marker. its in the highway.

once there, call or text me-an, so she can have manong joseph pick you. then its gonna be a short tricycle ride to polaris, about 5-8 mins (15-25pesos/pax).

manong joseph can also be your tour guide, driver and bodyguard around pagudpud, with his reliable tricycle as your means of transpo. he charged us 600 for a whole day trip of pagudpud.
