My friends and I visited Pagudpud. It's our first time to visit this Gorgeous place! A day before our vacation, I've checked the net for sources for our Pagudpud tour. I've read different reviews from forum and Kuya Roland Villaluz trike number 241 got my attention for the package. I've contact him about our booking and we got it.

On the day itself, we are surprised that someone took place for kuya Roland, we got the news the he has been rushed to the hospital for heart disease, so he send someone for our tour and that's kuya Jayson Valledor (09186872603) #236 Red Tricycle. He is cool. Super fun roadtrip. He is respectful and with some insight facts about the places we've visited.

The weather was really unpredictable. On our way to Kapurpurawan White Rock Formation, it started to drizzle and kuya jayson still continue the drove to the place. The rain started to fall, Kuya Jayson was really wet, then we said " Ayan kuya nabasa ka tuloy" he just answered " Okay lang po ma'am with A SMILE on his face". Super Bait talaga! Then when the rain went heavy, he really let us stay first at the waiting shed while he put covers so we don't get wet, He was really helping us while passing through the slippery and rocky way to Kapurpurawan White Rock Formation. One more thing, we've got a photographer. hahaha! Super cool he knows how to play with the venue and camera. After one shot, he'll say 'Isa pa po ma'am" other angle. haha.

My friends and I really enjoyed our tour. Thanks to kuya Jayson! here's his tour package:

They have two types of tour, the North and South bound tour.

    North Bound:

    1. Kabigan Waterfalls
    2. Patapat Viaduct
    3. Agua Grande
    4. Paraiso ni Anton
    5. Timmangtang Rock
    6. Bantay Abot Cave
    7. Blue Lagoon
    8. Dos Hermanos Islands

    Southbound:

    1. Bangui Windmills
    2. Kapurpurawan White Rock Formation
    3. Café Bojeador Lighthouse

The Northbound and Southbound cost Php 600/tour. 1200/both tour.

    Feel free to contact him.

Disclaimer: FYI that's kuya roland's trike. He is just using it for our tour.
Kuya jayson also got his on trike. RED TRIKE, BUDDY #236, Cellnumber: 09186872603

    Your Way to Blue Lagoon

by backpackerpards Written Jul 10, 2005

From Cubao – Partas station, take the Laoag trip. We took the Super De Luxe bus (10:00pm trip, travel time 10 hrs.) because it is very spacious, you can actually recline your seats as if you are sleeping in a bed. There is much leg room. But you have to fall in line earlier than announced by the one in charge in the ticket booth because, there are only 27 seats available. They usually sell tickets 1 hour before the trip so what we did was to fall in line by 9:00pm without waiting for the announcement that the tickets are ready for selling. And even if we did that, we were actually seated at the 2nd to the last row. There are two seats on the left side of the bus and only 1 seat on the right side so there is very limited seats. Fariñas buses in Dimasalang have comfort rooms inside but Cubao is more convenient for us, so that’s why we chose Partas.

From Laoag, we got off the terminal, then went to the terminal of Claveria Tours (bus going to Claveria that will pass by Gaoa). We took the bus to Gaoa and got off there. Travel time 1 ½ hours. From Gaoa we bought some fish at the nearby talipapa (they only sell fish there) for dinner. From there we took the tricycle going to Maira-ira or blue lagoon.

  • KUYA LEE's AMAZING SUPER SULIT TOUR PACKAGES

    by jam28hazel Updated Nov 22, 2011

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

We never had a super sulit tour package from anywhere until we met Kuya Lee of Pagudpud. Coz let's admit it, travelling are for people who have the money for it but our trip to Ilocos Pagudpud changed it all! I can't believe there are still those people who works not just for money but because they really love giving their guests a wonmderful travel experiece. Sounds 'trapo' speech right? Well,, I was skeptic at first by Kuya Lee's vision and I thought this is just his way to attratc customers but I was wrong. Big time!!
We got a promo ticket, 5 of my friends, one of my friend's sister annd two kids so we are 8 people all in all. The dilemma is the transportation because pagudpus is very far from Laoag. We were thinking of just giong to Blue Lagoon because we don't have budget for the tour and besides, we didn't have accomodation at that time. I searched in the internet and found this page. So I texted the two most famous people who offers this kind of services. We were really in a tight budget so I told them about our dilemma. they texted immediately but unfortunately the other one said he can't give us discount anymore becacuse he wasn;t the owner of the van. Amazingly, my other contact (who is kuya Lee) offerd a very affordable price, This includes the van, driver, pickup from laoag airport to apgudpud accomodation, then tour to pagudpud's most amazing sites at a very affordable price! REALLY AFFORDABL:E! So aside from the van, transpo, we got a tour around pagudpud! But waitm there's more! The acomodation id really big! we had 2 big rooms and it is very clean, we couldn't ask for more! You will really not regret Kuya Lee's tour because he lives out to his promise. He will really give you a wonderful tour experience perfect for families and bartkada. This was our proposed itenerary:
Day 1: pick up at Laoag airport at 2pm
    South Tour:1. Bangui Windmills
    2. Old Lighthouse
    3.Kapurpurawan Rock Formation
    4. Drop off in Blue Lagoon accomodation

    DAy 2:
    1. Swimming! (the water is perfect! and the sand? oh WOW!)
    2. Agua Grande
    3.Paraiso ni Anton
    4.Patapat Viaduct
    5.Kabigan Falls
    6.Bantay Abot

We also got to see Timangtang Rock and Dos Hermanos

Not only that, Kuya emerson (our driver) agreed to drop us off at Laoag market to buy some souvenirs and pasalubong. They really know the place. We bought chichacorn, our dinner and ba
gnet! And oh my gosh the souvenirs are really cheap! I love pearls and there are lots of them in Ilocos.Kuya Less and Kuya Emerson are very patient and will take pictures for you. If you have any concerc, they are VERY APPROACHABLE and they will ADDRESS YOUR CONCERN IMMEDIATELY.
So if you travelk to pagudpud, Choose KUYA LEE! The best choice! They also cater Vigan, Banauw and Sagada Tours. They have tricycle and car rides if you are travelling in small group and van for bigger groups Just txt them for any concerns. Tried and tested!

Partas, St. Joseph and manong joseph's tricycle...

    by traveller_md Written Jul 25, 2005

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

from manila, take the buses bound to laoag. their price ranges are similar, around 650-850pesos/pax. i highly recommend the partas buses. however, their restaurant stopovers are not satisfactory, so just bring your own food/snacks. travel time is from 9-10 hrs.

from laoag, i recommend the buses bound to cagayan (they seem to be more sturdy) and cheap (60-70pesos/pax), rather than the ones bound to pagudpud (80-90pesos). warning: there are no aircon buses to cagayan/pagudpud. but feeling the warm breeze is part of the adventure, right? anyway, the air is far more fresh than the one you've been inhaling for quite some time. travel time is from 1 and 1/2 - 2 hrs max.

ask the driver/conductor to drop you off at the waiting shed just before the pagudpud marker. its in the highway.

once there, call or text me-an, so she can have manong joseph pick you. then its gonna be a short tricycle ride to polaris, about 5-8 mins (15-25pesos/pax).

manong joseph can also be your tour guide, driver and bodyguard around pagudpud, with his reliable tricycle as your means of transpo. he charged us 600 for a whole day trip of pagudpud.

  • Kuya Rapie excellent service!!

    captured in Casa Victoria, Pagudpud

Just had our Vigan-Laoag-Pagudpud tour very recent (Feb.9-14) and the experience is simply awesome! And, what makes it more wonderful is the tour services offered by Kuya Rapie. Well, all tour packages and rates are the same for all of the locals in the town w/ trike. They even have a brochure posted in their vehicle on the rates and tourist spots in the province. Anyway, what makes Kuya Rapie service excellent? First, he recommended the resort w/c we found beyond the expensive resorts in Saud but, unbelievably cheap!!! We stayed at, nearly a yr. old, resort w/ all the rooms totally clean and nice good for 9 people for only Php1,200.00!!! Food are very affordable!! Servings are good for 2 w/ price ranges from Php90.00-150.00 only! Went to Saud resort and stuffs there are old. What makes it worst is the restroom. That's very important to me. It should be hotel-like clean. And, sadly the resort didn't pass my standards. (arteh?!) Back to Kuya Rapie, he also take great pictures of us. It feels like you're in a pictorial. Wehehehe! He suggests poses that would normally for models! Wehehehe! Hilarious! He is very proactive! Offering stuffs that we might need and suggest things to make our stay excellent! (Ask for the girls.. wehehehe!). A plus on his service is he picked us from the resort to the bus station w/o charge. He even talked to the conductor where to drop us (we are going to Vigan). If you want your Pagudpud tour, as memorable as ours, I recommend Kuya Rapie. His contact no. 0929-1462505.

    mini bus to Pagudpud

From Manila take any bus going to Laoag (daily trips for most buses going North). Or take a 50 min plane ride via Cebu Pacific/PAL. From Laoag, take a mini bus (ordinary) going to Pagudpud. The mini bus station is behind the Provincial Capitol of Laoag (70/pax). It's about 1.30 hour bus ride (no stopovers) passing along the towns of Pasuquin (where they make salt), Bangui (where you can find the Bangui Windmills, and Burgos (the lighthouse). From the town proper, you can ask a tricycle to take you to your resort. Most resorts are lined along the shores of Pagudpud so it should be easy (and cheap).
