    Calle Crisologo in Vigan

Calle Crisologo, the cobbled stone street is a must-see at night. Take time to visit it again after a day's tour. The entire street have beautiful lights and it's nice to go on walks or just enjoy the view and relax on benches along the street.

    to get some tasty empanadas.

Sitio Bar: an early gimmick night

    entrance at the sitio bar

i highly recommend the sitio bar for after dinner drinks. but it has to be early because night life in vigan is only until 9pm. i think there are only two nightspots in vigan, the other is leona's where the videoke is. but if you want to just have drinks and chill out with friends or with your beau, go to the sitio bar. the bar's interior is nice, with colorful chairs and walls. music ranges from pop to disco. the pulutans are also ok, the hungarian sausage tastes great. but what i like most is the happy hour promo, which offers a bucket of 6 bottles for only P150! nice way to end your busy day of touring vigan.

Dress Code: no dress code. we came in shorts and rubber shoes right after our tour

take a night stroll in Crisologo Street - romantic
    4 more images

It gets dark quite early in Vigan. By late 8pm, there are not many shops opened for you to shop around. The main activities for the night are :
    1) Strolling along Crisologo street (it's pretty romantic!) - dimly lit and quiet. From some corners, you could find some children playing, cycling. They love taking pictures and talking to you.
    2) Relax at either Plaza Burgos (which is more crowded) and Plaza Salcedo. I prefer Plaza Salcedo (situated just next to Plaza Burgos). It has a fountain and cart wheel swings - have a go.. it's fun.
    3) Have a cuppa/drink along one of the cafes at Crisologo..Max's restaurant, Cafe Leona etc.
There are some outlets that have ka-ra-oke, sing your heart out.....

    Dress Code: Casual.

    A liltle relax

    Night scenary

During my stay in Ilocos Sur, not very intriguing about night life in here. People are closing shop and door after dark. It's get dark pretty early around this town. I was just strolling around the area after I had sent Ukirsari to the Partas Bus Station. Most of the area were dark. Not many street light on and I was just depending to the street light availables.

So, basically there's no night life in here. but still you can wonder around searching for something new.

along the alleys of vigan and plaza burgos: cozy night around crisologo street

vigan at the night (c) ukirsari

there's nothing can be compared with exploring vigan at night. walking through the alleys and then ended with mingle around local at plaza burgos. glittering lights mirrored into almost all of the old buildings and monuments also the church [st paul's metropolitan cathedral]. you feel somewhere in between heaven and earth. well, maybe my words seems to exaggerate the description but i feel so peaceful here :)

Oh it is happening near the old street during dusk, people start putting the tables out in the streets and you can eat under the sky with candle lights.
