well, empanada ... surprise that indonesia also have a snack which is looks similar so called "panada" [from manado]. it's like pastel or puff pastry with veggie and pork [in my country can be changed with beef, chicken or fish] as filling. fried and served with vinegar-soy sauce. you're not in vigan yet if not yet try empanada!
Same food. Only the restaurants' architecture that catches one's eyes. Preserving the heritage look of the place, these fastfood restaurants exterior designs blend well with the adjacent buildings.
Favorite Dish: When travelling and passing by the place and want fast food to go, plus some fast snap shots, get your usual city fast food here which i am sure the kids travelling with you wont complain, being their usual fare.
I forgot what the resto's called, but it's located right in front of the place where the kalesas are parked. It serves local food, but it's not really that cheap (especially for students and local backpackers). However, it's still worth a try!
Favorite Dish: Pinakbet! Not too salty, not too bland-- just right!
Must try - Bagnet KBL pizza in Cafe Leona. This is located near Calle Crisologo
There's a play area inside for kids...
And since there's no McDo in Palawan, we tried it for our son JB!
If you want to experience McDonald's, Chowking, Greenwich, Jollibee in the 1950's, here's your chance.
This is the best food I had in Vigan Empandas longganisa sausage anything from the street vindors by Plaza Burgos
nice service from the waiters ; ambiance is the view of Crisologo street
Favorite Dish: Vigan Longaniza and Pinakbet, Vigan local dishes
"the place is small, good lights with nice music..just so comfy..."
Favorite Dish: my favorite dish in this resto is their longanisa and pasta...
longganisa is local sausage which is unfortunately [or fortunately? :)] only made from pork [baboy]. diced meat with some spices put into longganisa and grilled, served with special sauce. yummy!!!
At the end of the road, you will find cafe leona... when the clock strikes 7, the bustling road in front of the restaurant transforms into an oasis of great food, music and people...
Favorite Dish: Grilled chili...
