Along the road, there are various small stores which sell all sorts of dried fish, fish paste (bagoong) and woodcrafts. You can make a stopover in any of these shops and bring home some native goods from La Union.
The stores in these pictures are no longer part of Agoo and I cant recall anymore which part of La Union these stores are located.
I included them here for info. :)
This church was constructed by the Augustinians spearheaded by Fr. Satornino Franco while a three layered belfry was made by Fr. Casiniro Melgosa and Fr. Aguiliano Garcia. By the end of the 15th century, the image of Nuestra Señora de Caridad (Our Lady of Charity) was installed in the church.
The beautiful mini park is located in the plaza. A fountain is set in the middle of the park complemented by old acacia trees and tropical flowers at the sides. On the northern side of the park is the Agoo Tree House, perched on the top of the acacia tree which affords everyone a panoramic view of the surrounding area.
