The food strip is composed of some turo-turo style eateries. However its primary pull comes from their fresh fishes and meats served in sizzling plates. A plate of a sizzling dish can satisfy two persons. Affordable, the place has become the cafeteria for many people working at nearby Technopark, a mammoth industrial complex. Blue Corner, the cornermost eatery at the back attracts the most customers and is usually packed during lunch/dinner hours.
Favorite Dish: Sizzling Tuna (P120), Sizzling Blue Marlin (P120), Sizzling Squid (P120), Sizzling Sisig (P120), Chopsuey (P60)
BO's COFFEE: Local Coffee House Makes it BIG!
Bo's Coffee was started in davao city by Steve Benitez, an expat pinoy from the United States in 1994, when He noticed that most filipinos still drink mostly instant coffee, instead of the various brews available abroad. At that time there were Local Coffee Shops just starting like Bo's, Figaro, Coffee Experience, Coffee Beanery and there was no STARBUCKS!, it only arrived in the philippines in 1998. Bo's Coffee then just zoomed into awareness mostly by word of mouth that eventually, it began opening coffee houses in the capital Metro Manila. Like any typical coffee houses, Bo's Coffee serves a dizzying array of hot and cold specialty coffees like expresso, cappucino, their trademark Froccino (Copied from the Frappucino of Starbucks!), Freeze Ice Blended Drinks and off course, the most expensive coffee in the world, the Coffee ALAMID! (or Coffee Luwak in Indonesia) made from excreted coffee beans by CIVET CATS. It is more expensive than Ethiopian Sidamo, Arabian Sanani, Hawaiian Kona, Columbian Supremo, etc.
They have over 60 stores throughout the Philippines, This beranch is at Solenad 2 in Nuvali, Santa Rosa City.
Opens: 7:00 am to 10:00 pm everyday
Favorite Dish: Froccino Iced Coffee was a good choice since I like cold coffee but the best was Coffee ALAMID, wherein it cost 280 pesos for a 4 ounce cup! (but it was worth it) however, due to the prevalence of civet cats in Vietnam, their weasel coffee is just about 70 pesos a cup there! You must drink it as is! to savor the strong flavor (don't add sugar or cream!) The Panini was ok but average, the pasta was above average. They also have brewed Iced Teas with different flavors at 130 pesos for a large order.
Kanin Club has a Spanish Era feel to it - with the glass-stained windows and capizes around.
We ordered the following for lunch:
1. Loaded Fried Rice
2. Aligue Rice
3. Crispy Pork Binagoongan
4. Tapa ni Ana
5. Calderetang Nueva
6. Sinigang na Tadyang na Baka
7. Binukadkad na Tilapia
8. Camaron Rebosado
9. Spicy Tahong
10. Kare Kare
(I might have missed a dish or two)
...and WE LOVED EVERYTHING! There was almost nothing left! We even tried their KC Turon ala mode - a very interesting twist to the classic dessert turon - even if we knew we were having our desserts at Cafe Breton!
And it was CHEAP too! I believe the bill only came out to about P4,800.00 when we ordered 2-3 servings for each dish (approx. 25 orders in total)! Not bad at all huh? :)
They open at 11am. Do come early especially on weekends as the place gets full instantly. No reservations accepted.
Favorite Dish: My favorite dishes are:
1. Camaron REbosado
2. Spicy Tahong
3. Tapa ni Ana

One of the Popular Locally Owned Tex Mex Fast Food Chain is the Army Navy- Burgers + Burrito which is a relative newbie in the mexican and tex-mex fast food scene at it was founded only in 2009 but now has more than 35 branches around the Metro Manila Area and around the Philipines! the restaurant has a military barracks type of ambiance where the restaurant is built like a galvanized iron lke quonset hut and set up with a few tables and chairs inside and outside the fast food area. the area is a typical fast food joint but there are no waiters as you order at the counter and then wait for your number to be called and have your meal after a few minutes as they cook their meals from scratch.
