    4D - Discover Theater

    by vaughn.voyages Written Jan 10, 2004

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

horror movie fans are in for a different kind of experience in this 30-seater theater equipped with a special screen for three-dimensional images and a chair that lets the viewer experience sensory effects. 4D Discovery Theater's initial film, when we get there, is a horror feature titled "Escape from Bane Manor," with sensory effects for the viewer such as wind blowing, leg tickling and water spraying. it is the haunting story of an old man recalling his encounter with all sorts of ghosts and goblins in a grand victorian castle. its feels like your in the film..really!!! the people queing in line for this attraction is very long during peak hours so its almost impossible to have a second try..so you better try it first thing in the morning!!! its really a great addition to the attractions in EK.. and be reminded that it has a separate admission fee..

this is the place to take a sentimental journey down the streets of Brooklyn, one of New York's five boroughs, as it was in the 1940's. you can reminisce the bygone years of silent movies and slapstick comedies as entertainers parade down the cobblestone street...awesome view..feels like your in America haha..

    Enchanted Kingdom

by machomikemd Updated Sep 19, 2008

    1 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Enchanted Kingdom, the VERY FIRST Philippine Theme and Amusement park opened in 1995 in the fast growing exurb of Santa Rosa City. Before that there were just small amusement centers located in Manila at Star City. Although Enchanted Kingdom is an Amusement Park which is World Class, it is very small in Comparison to other Amusement Parks in Asia (even smaller than Hongkong Disney, smaller than Ocean park and way Smaller than Sentosa Island). It only offers 19 attractions though.

Regular Day Pass- 400 pesos weekdays and 500 pesos weekends (Enjoy unlimited use of all
the Park’s rides: Space Shuttle, Jungle Log Jam, Swan Lake, Up, Up & Away, Roller Skater, Dodgem, Wheel of Fate, Anchors Away, Bump n’ Splash, Rialto, Rio Grande Rapids, Flying Fiesta, Grand Carousel, Bumbling Boulders, Boulderville Express, Air Petrodactyl, Stone Eggs, and Dinosoaurus). a 20% discount for senior citizens.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS. A separate fee will be required for the following attractions: Xtreme Paintball, 4D Discovery Theater, Kart Trak, Jr. Kart Trak, Exodus: The ATV Ride, and Triassic Tag

    Enchanted Kingdom 2

by machomikemd Updated Sep 19, 2008

    1 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

part 2 of My enchanted kingdom tips with more pictures. Although this Theme Park is Pretty Decent in attractions, it comes short in the Ride Department since it has only 19 attractions and the area is very small, about 8 hectares only that is why it is not marketed as a tourist destination in the Philippines (unlike Sentosa Island in Singapore or Ocean World in Hongkong or Sunway Pyramid in Malaysia). Still, when you are used to just flea circuses in the past (like I was in my Childhood) and not exposed to Big Theme Parks like Disneyland, Great America, Ocean World, Everland, etc. , this Park will be very good.
