Every Holy Week, Marinduque towns of Mogpog, Boac, and Gasan hold of Morions parade -- where young and old alike are dressed in centurion costumes with a mask or as Mary or the apostles. Some morions even carry replica of weapons of yore. When I watched the parade on Holy Wednesday, I even got to see a Morion in a chariot drawn by a horse.

The ferry leaves the port on time. Its crew is accommodating and friendly. Travel time is between 2-3 hours. Fare costs PHP 156.
