In Sabang after hours, it gets a little lewd. In the daytime it is fine for kids but after hours, they might see things you don't want them to see. White Beach area is more popular for adults and for locals. Sabang is for men.
After most bars have already closed, Big Apple stays open. It can get a little rough sometimes. The go-go clubs have an open door as you walk past them. I saw a lady dancing on a pole as I walked by.

Coco Aroma is a nice place if you want raw live music. You can even jam with the band. There you can get away losing yourself for a moment because the crowd is sort of just going along with the fun... We loved the place when Toto was still the one doing the Bob Marley songs.... wonder where he is now.... Oh well, those were the good old days (Nov 2004 to April 2005)... We will surely go back when we have the chance. See you there !

A different experience for party goers, the floating bar is literally a bar that floats. Its complete with table setting, overflowing drinks and food, music and a videoke machine. Although it looks exciting, my friends and I did not try it coz we might barf in the sea while enjoying our Mindoro Sling coz the bar literally rocks!!!

A juice with a kick, Mindoro Sling it the Hottest drink in PG. The sweet concoction was created and popularized by Mikko, owner of Mikko’s Bar in White Beach, Puerto Galera. The cherry-red cocktail gets its fizz from Sprite while its buzz comes from the smooth, full-bodied taste of Tondeña Premium Rum. You don’t have to travel all the way to Puerto Galera to sample the popular Mindoro Sling. We’re sharing Mikko’s recipe with you. Here’s to a smashing time with every shot!

this establishment and the one beside it (when facing the bar, the one on brian's right) serve the best mindoro sling!
if you don't know what a mindoro sling is, it's a drink served only in puerto galera. so trying this is a must!
a whole pitcher costs around P300 ($6). but just a friendly warning, the drink is kinda deadly so you're better off sharing than finishing the pitcher all by yourself.

While everyone (well, almost everyone) is drinking, eating and (some) dancing, just stroll on the beach, find a good spot where there aren't too many people. Have your lady friend share her sarong with you, lying down on the sand. You can watch the stars and look out for falling ones. Too bad, the moon wasn't up.
You may also want to try out your night/ambient light photography.
Dress Code: Come as you are! But beach attire is preferred. :)

White Beach is also popular for their parties. As soon as sunset starts, the restaurant staff starts carrying out tables & chairs that they set up right on the beach. Be sure to haggle for the price though because there are some that increase their price during weekends.
