Le Bistro D'Agathe: Superb french cuisine and bakery!

The gang....

An excellent restaurant with great food, quiet surroundings, right on the waterfront with a very friendly owner "Patrice".
This restaurant is actually in Puerto Galera, not Sabang like many of the others listed. It has a good selection on the menu, including many European dishes and filipino dishes.
Great for a latte and a chocolate croissant in the morning while reading the paper or watching the world go by...
It costs a little more than some of the other restaurants but it is well worth it especially as you get a nice little serving of terrine (pate) for free too.

Favorite Dish: My favourite dish has to be the Brazilian steak I think, although it's a close run thing with the caesar salad and blue marlin. It comes with mini roast potatoes and is absolutely delicious, cooked only the way the french can cook a steak - to perfection!

Luca's Cucina Italiana: Food trip again at Talipanan's only Italian Resto!

Luca's is the only Italian restaurant in Talipanan. Owned by an Italian (duh!), we had our dinner here after some boulder hike and beach soak. We initially ordered the seafood marinara. It was a huge serving! I was totally full even before our Luca's signature pizza arrived (which is also huge!).

Favorite Dish: Seafood Marinara pasta!

We arrived at Talipanan before lunch time. We immediately headed to the nearest open resto (Mengie's, just beside our place heehee) We were greeted by a big smiling lady who immediately talked to us in English. We had Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Adobo.

Chicken Adobo is OK, but the Chicken Teriyaki was awesome! I highly recommend that food when you visit Mengie's :-)

Favorite Dish: Chicken Teriyaki!

Pirates Bar and Restaurant: The Best Fish and Chips in Muelle!

It's a small resto and bar at Muelle, owned by a funny and friendly Australian guy John Dawson. They serve fish and chips, chix n chips and of course, liquor. Inside, there are high chairs and tables, swivel chairs and a small bar and you can also find things that are pirate-related. We really loved the way they served beer - with stubbie coolers! Check out the pics!

Favorite Dish: The fish and chips! At first, I thought it was quite expensive for something that will not fill me up ( I am a rice person). But it was satisfying ( and great with beer, too!)- making it worth the money.

Pepperoni & Salad with Rosemary Vinaigrette

This is a small Italian Resto/bar at Muelle Port. They serve thin crust pizza with choice for vegetarians and meat lovers alike! Prices are modest, not too pricey. They also serve wine and beer and cocktails. The waitresses were also friendly.

Favorite Dish: We tried the pepperoni pizza -drizzled it with olive oil - and it was good! Also best with beer!

There's a glass window in the bakery where you can see the bakers at work. I was pretty surprised to see a bakery with this concept on the island.

Favorite Dish: All the pastries that my friends and i tried were good. I can't remember what i had but it's a local pork bun.

Grilled Squid and Pork

Fernando's Seaside Cafe menu offers a lot, if you want american or continental breakfast they have it, which will only cost about 100 pesos, for lunch they offer seafood like squid, fish. For 200 per person you will definitely satisfy your hunger! The whole strech of white beach has a lot of local resto which almost has the same menu.

Lenly's Bar and Restaurant

We ate at Lenly's for lunch. It's a very good choice because we were there the night before for dinner and the servings were big. Even if you ordered for a rice topping, they will separate the rice from the viand and the viand can be shared among yourselves.
We also ate at Fernando's upon docking. And it's a huge mistake. Servings were small. The chicken kebab was half-cooked. Although their free soup was unlimited. The food was really not palatable.

Favorite Dish: chicken/ pork cordon bleu, spaghetti, soup and others.

one of the better restaurants in white beach, ambiance and crowd-wise.

Favorite Dish: dreamwave's special seafood rice!

the kebab's good, too. but my friends say the ones being grilled on beachfront stall's are much better. but if ever you do try the kebab in this restaurant, chicken tastes better than pork but pork has no bones unlike chicken.
