It may not be 7-11 or Mini Stop but this is perfect just in case you find bottled water at the hotel too expensive (you can buy the 5 liter ones, but better buy one when you reach the Batangas Pier) or you're craving for some ice cream or junk food or forgot to bring your shampoo or worse, sunblock! There's another mini-mart which closes a bit late at the Muelle Port, right next to the restaurants/bars there.

The shirt shops abound on the beach strip. :)
What to buy: I usually buy souvenir shirts from the places I've been to. And Puerto Galera is no different. It's my second time on the island and only a few new designs have come out.
Depending on the shirt size, these can cost from Php90-120 per piece. I tried to haggle but they won't budge. :) They gave me and my fiancee a free friendship bracelet for every shirt that we bought. I also bought one pair of surfing shorts (hey, that doesn't mean I surf...) for Php120 a pair.
Other items sold on the beach are necklaces, anklets, bracelets. Sarongs, too!
What to pay: Average of Php100 per shirt (~$2), Php120 (~$2.50) per pair of shorts (for both men's and ladies).

What to pay: Php 60 for kids shirts
Php 130 for adult sized shirts

What to buy: ~~They have very cheap souvenir T-SHIRTS around P 100 ($ 1) for adults and P 80 for kids with good fabric. My tip is to HAGGLE and CANVASS first which stall has the best designs and nicest seller! :) They usually give us free 2 thread anklets for every shirt.
~~The stalls in the island also has very affordable sarongs (cover-ups) from around P 120 ($ 1.20) Tie dyes and then P 180 ($ 3) for the white or black. The tie dyes usually smear other fabric with your first wash so make sure you wash it first before you use it or else you can say goodbye to your favorite bikini! :)
~~I don't know if it's a trend but yes, all of them offers crocheted bikinis and cover ups! :)
~~Be drowned in thousands of accessories being sold in the area! And as I always say~~haggle! haggle! haggle! (and canvass too!) :)
