    Puerto Galera Transportation

We thought out trip would be more comfortable if we took Si-kat bus but was very dissapointed with the behaviour of the lady guide. She wasn't very friendly and she doesn't really know how to deal and response to problems. She can't work under pressure and can really be angry not taking into consideration that her job is to make the passengers...

  • Underwater Cave

    Puerto Galera Things to Do

One of the coolest place in Galera is the underwater cave. I was scared though going there because we have to ride a canoe and the waves that time were pretty wild! Well, fortunately, we are still alive haha. It is a small cave and we were lucky that we were the only people there that time!

    Calapan Things to Do

In going to any other place, it is but natural, to buy something worth remembering no matter how cheap or expensive the item/s would be. I must admit that I used to buy t-shirts with "I love ____" designs and other items caught by my eye. If you are in the same mode and plan to visit Calapan, don't let the day pass without dropping to "Small...

    Calapan Things to Do

My wife frequently visits this spa to get rid of her pimples. The attendants are always courteous even to non-clients. They never run out of "gimmicks" which are really affordable to solicit patrons. I had an impression that the place is for female only until I found out my extremely handsome staff was also visiting a spa for "maintainence"...

    Sabang Nightlife

Sabang Disco (the first disco on the left coming from the main road into town) has too many girls who cheat customers. I got cheated, my friend got cheated and my hotel security guard also said girls from there often cause problems. The other discos seem fine. Just Sabang Disco seems to cause problems.

    Sabang Warnings and Dangers

Due to the continual corruption, ferries are still being overloaded to maximize profits at the expense of the passenger's lives. I have traveled to Puerto Galera (Sabang) from Batangus countless times and had many a scary trip!!!This distance of more than 30 kilometers is one of the most dangerous in the country. Between the two islands there are...

  • Walking after 0200

    Sabang Warnings and Dangers

There are only 4 regular roads in Sabang. The bbeachfront, one paralleling the beach (with all the bars on it), one running from the beach up to the top of the hill, and the last one is halfway up the hill. These last 2 roads are not the safest places to be walking after 0200 in the morning. You will see drunk people and small gangs of youths on...

This site was a marble quarry before being transformed into a mountain golf terrain. From there you can enjoy a magnificent view from Sabang to White Beach. A small but cosy bar-restaurant serves drinks, snacks and light meals. For golf lovers, this terrain is a challenge.

Favorite thing: Barcenaga is where I was raised as a child. Never did I Imagine that a provincial place like it will eventually catch up with time. As a child I rarely see balloons during birthday parties and special occassions and the enormous ectasy it would bring to children. Somebody needs to order from the province capital to have a ballon. So I was very surprise to find one shop near my sisters' place. I know how meticulous it was to make a balloon as I tried putting a balloon business before.

If you visit Naujan and there is special occassion, don't forget to visit Barcenaga and have some fun with the balloons.
