To get to Linugos is easy but a long and arduous bus ride. Linugos is at the very tail end and the last town of Misamis Oriental as one travels to the next province of Agusan in the southern part of the island. If you are first flying to the country, the most likely arrival big city from your international destination would be either Manila or Cebu. From either cities, you can then catch a short connecting flight into the provincial city of Cagayan de Oro which is the main hub of Misamis Oriental. From here, there are many and frequent buses within the province's municipalities. Take any of the buses but preferrably the bus company called Bachelor Express (cheap, air-conditioned and comfortable) heading towards the city of Butuan in Agusan province which will drop you off two hours later at the highway village of Kibungsod. From here, Linugos is only five to ten minutes away on a jeepney or in a three-legged tricyle.
