visit Turtle Islands

Ask the resort staff for island hopping/snorkling activity and they can set up a tour for you. You can visit Turtle islands etc. Php 700+ for a small bangka which can accomodate max of 3 people..or you can catch some white crabs running around...

Punta Bulata White Beach Resort & Spa: Paradise Found!

Punta Bulata White Beach Resort & Spa: Paradise Found!, Cauayan

lebeachlover Says:  I think Punta Bulata is one of the most beautiful places in the Philippines. It is a hidden paradise, a place where one can spend quality time with loved ones. Unlike other crowded beaches, Punta Bulata actually has its own private stretch of white sand beach. I will always...

Punta Bulata Resort: Things Are Never What They Seem

Punta Bulata Resort: Things Are Never What They Seem, Cauayan

tidzy Says:  I would NOT recommend this accommodation. First off, our reservation was screwed up. We booked for a hillside casita wherein we were told had two airconditioning units and two bathrooms. Upon arrival, we were given the beach casita which had only ONE airconditioning unit...

Spa Rooms: ..the sweet..sweet..japanese room.., Cauayan

cjoan Says:  Manang Thelma, the manager gave us a tour on each room and the cabanas..we were interested to stay near the pool so we took one of the rooms there. Its a 2 story building and the corner rooms is a lil bit priced than those in the middle..it would have a view of the sea since...

We decided to take the bus for adventure. The starting city was Bacolod. Waited for the bus from the South Terminal bound for Sipalay. Sipalay is the next stop after Cauayan and Punta Bulata is somewhere in the middle. Approx. 3 hours, past the mountains.."duwa na lang ka bukid" this is was the reply we got from the bus driver assistant when we asked him how far were we from the resort(after 2 hrs of sitting down)..Just tell them you're going to Punta Bulata Resort, they'll know where to take you..Finally, we found ourselves in the middle of nowhere..a highway, tall trees and a small narrow path..the "bangga"-corner,going to the resort..waited for a while then a tricyle came,(paid 100php for that btw)it was like 2 km from the highway..the road was bumpy but some part of it is under construction(good!)...it would be the same trip back..and its ok not to take the non-aircon bus on the way back..nice cool air even in the afternoons...and besides ratio of aircon to non-aircon bus travelling to and from Sipalay is quite small..no choice! hehe..but for sure you'll have a fun time watching the countryside scenery..
