This church is located inside the Victorias Milling Co. compound. The facade of the church has 3 mosaics made of broken glass pieced together. The baptismal room, with a sunken floor also has a beautiful mosaic made of broken glass. But the main attraction of the church is the mural of the "Angry Christ". Looking at the mural is astonishing in itself, but when one looks into the details and has someone who knows the whys of each little detail of the mural, you would definitely be astounded by the genius behind this work of art.
The Church also has 3 sculptures, one of Mary, one of Joseph and one of Jesus on the Cross but what is amazing about these sculptures is that they are "Filipinized".

Gawahon was a 1 hour drive from the main road of Victorias. Its located up the mountains and the road going there is broken.
It just opened when we visited there and they were just getting the hang of things. They had a boating lake and swimming pool but it wasn't operating yet. Green grass, flowering plants and fruit-bearing trees and bushes are abundant everywhere.
They even have goats and stray dogs, but they're really friendly.
If you don't rent a cottage and only get a shed, you wouldn't exactly feel comfortable with no bathroom or washing facilities and not even tables. We had to request for them or go to the staff house up the hill.
Its a nice place to relax since the air is cool and there is minimum noise.

The sugar mill in Victorias actually offers tours around the factory. You're supposed to wear hard hats in case of any accidents.
Taking of pictures were not allowed inside the facility so we had to keep our camera phones and digital cameras.
The sugar-making process is explained to you and they even give you a sample of the sugar ;)
sweet!

Well, I'm not into golf(as in really, not at all). But we visited the Marapara Golf Club at Victorias and fell in love with the endless expanse of fields and ponds.
Golf tournaments are held here annually.
Equipment: Golf clubs and golf balls.
You can rent a golf cart there if you wish.
