Folks, its 2009 - going to Catarman, Northern Samar is now so easy......yes, we have three (3) local flight carriers that serves the town and nearby municipalities.
Few months back we already had - 1) Philippine Airlines (PAL Express) have daily flights; while 2) Cebu Pacific and 3) Zest Airways (formerly Asian Spirit) flies four times a week en route Manila. Travel time is approximately 1 hour, and ticket costs plus airport taxes range from P 1,000 to P 4,600. Rates will depend on the seasons (peak/low seasons). All flights for PAL Express and Cebu Pacific departs/arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in Andrew Ave, Pasay. Whilst Zest Air, flights depart/arrive at the Domestic Terminal in Domestic Road, Pasay.
(Always be prepared with P200.00 for airport fee at the Manila domestic airport; in Catarman airport fee in less than P50.00 pesos).
By land, Philtranco, Eagle Star, Silver Star, and several other bus companies provide daily trips to Manila. These buses departs in Cubao, terminal near Ali Mall. Travel takes approximately 14 to 16 hours on a relaxing countryside drive via Quezon/Bicol Region.

-The shortest I've seen with less than 2 meters water fall
-The water is catch by numerous basins in which one serves as a huge stocking container where the water is waited to clear and use in households for cleaning and not a surprise - for safe drinking
