part two of my tips with more pictures.

Al Dente Italian Restaurant is one of the six restaurants of Huma Island Resort and it also doubles as the famous sunset bar where you can watch the spectacular sunsets in Busuanga while having cocktails and bar chow. The Restaurant is located in the Northern Part of The Island, lying parallel to the Pan Asian Tagahuma Restaurant. It serves wonderful and flavorful italian meals and buffets ranging from various appetizers, pasti, anti pasti, meat and seafood dishes, pizzas, risotto and assorted salads. This is where some of the nightly dinner buffet is held. They have their own brick oven to cook various fresh breads like panini or ciabatta and various pizzas. They even have a well stocked wine cellar and a separate table where you can eat in privacy or pops the question if you are on the marrying type.

you always eat at different restaurants during dinner in Huma Island and sometimes via Night Beach Parties.

Opens: 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm on certain days

Favorite Dish: the assorted pizzas, the risotto with funghi, tartufo pasta, seafood marinara and a lot more

Waves All Day Dining: All Day Dining Area of Huma Island Resort (2)

by machomikemd Written Mar 18, 2015

Part two of my tips with more pictures.

Waves All Day Dining is where the default buffet breakfast and some of the buffet lunches are done in the resort (it alternates with On The Harbour Restaurant for lunch). The Restaurant is situated just beside the infinity pool and across the Blue Bar. It is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 am for breakfast and 11:30 pm to 2:00 pm for lunch for the resorts guests and all the food items and desserts and drinks here are complementary (included in the resort package).

Waves All Day Dining serves International Buffet Meals (which are Halal, meaning no pork is allowed as the Owner of the Resort is a Kuwaiti) ranging from filipino chicken tocino and longanisa, to chinese congee, to italian sausage, to french and danish pastries to japanese sushi and miso soup, American Steak and a lot more.

Favorite Dish: too many to mention as you would pig out as I do if you are feasting on wonderful food and assorted fresh seafood dishes.

ANN & MIKE'S RESTAURANT & GUEST HOUSE: GOOD FOR A BURGER

by davidjo Updated Jun 27, 2014

    4 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

There are not too many places to eat if you end up in Concepcion but at Ann and Mike's you can enjoy a simple burger with fries for around 260 pesos. It is not the best burger i tasted but it filled a hole in my stomach. There are quite a few other items on the menu, perhaps a little pricey but you have to consider that the place is in the middle of nowhere and they have to get their supplies from Coron Town, 40kms away.

    acceptable and only just!

Bistro Coron: Disappointed by the online reviews

by iclee Updated Sep 19, 2010

I normally surf for the local best when visiting a place. Bistro Coron was one of the recommended place to eat in Coron. I was very disappointed with the menu and the service.

Ordered their house specialty - Beef Bourguignon. It was a one plate meal served with rice. The beef sauce was passable for the french dish but what turned me off was the presence of about 1 heaping tablespoon of whole peppercorns. Considering the beef serving was just about half a cup, the peppercorns was way too much.

There was just 2 patrons in the whole restaurant and that already included our table. The waitress behaved like she did not understand Tagalog (sometimes called Pilipino) and looked very unenthusiastic when coming to our table. It was like we owe her by patronizing their restaurant.

The restaurant was also infested with many flies because some parts were al fresco. But what appalled me was their attitude of not caring if patrons were swatting flies left and right. A candle to ward off flies would have been SOP.

I dont recommend this restaurant and would gladly state why.

    Favorite Dish: None.
