Francisco B. Reyes Airport
The Francisco B. Reyes Airport is the only Airport Gateway serving the Calamianes Islands in Northern Palawan and is located at the middle of Busuanga Island (Busuanga Island is composed of Busuanga Town on the northern 1/3 and coron town on the southern 2/3). The Airport is a small Class 2 principal (minor domestic) airport and with no night landing facilities and a single runway. there are no international direct flights to it and you must make your point of arrival either at Manila or Cebu as your entry if you are coming from abroad. The Airport has a small one room arrival area and a larger two room depature area and is not air conditioned.
Local Airlines that have flights to the Airport are Cebu Pacific, PAL Express, Sky Jet and Air Juan from Puerto Princesa (all use turbo prop planes like Dorniers or Bombardiers or ATR's as the runway is short and could not accomodate Airbus Air 320's.
There are no Airport Taxis here, you either rent a private van or car to be able to go to your destinations in Coron, Calauit, Busuanga or to the other islands.
