TABON VIEW FOOD PLAZA: GOOD FOOD, ECONOMIC PRICE
As the name suggests there is a good view of Lipuun Point where Tabon Caves are located, and the building itself is quite nice with neat little tables inside. There is a selection of local food in pots that has already been cooked but you can order from the menu too. We popped in here before departing for our trip north, had a couple of drinks and a hamburger each, costing around 120 pesos altogether.
In the smaller towns don't expect the hamburger to be like a Big Mac, as it is rather basic compared to Mcdonalds. However it filled our stomachs before we departed. The restaurant is located around 500 meters on the right past the bus terminal.
LEV'S PIZZA: FILLING BUT NOT THE REAL THING
You will find Lev's Pizza by the market as you enter the one way street. Lev is still a young fellow and his business is doing well as it is affordable for the locals. Pizzas cost around 150 pesos but there is no mozzerella cheese, just the local processed cheese. The crust is thick but the various toppings are tasty and filling. They also serve burgers but i found the meat a little tough, as if it had not been ground properly. They also serve halo halo for around 35 pesos .
VILLA ESPARANZA: EXCELLENT FOOD, ECONOMIC PRICE
Villa Esparanza has a small restaurant which serves excellent food at very reasonable prices. Just take the road northwards when you reach Quezon and you will come to Villa Esparanza around 400 m on the right. The small restaurant is by the sea and has around 6 tables. Although it is a small resort anyone can drop by for a meal. I would advise you to try the seafood as there are always fresh fish available.
THE FOOD COURT: ECONOMIC LOCAL FOOD
By the market you will find a food court with perhaps 12 stalls selling local food as cheap as 40 pesos. It is very popular with locals so it must be good !
