if you are travelling to manila via tiger airways or air asia, you are definitely landing at the diosdado macapagal airport located in clark, pampanga. please note that this airport is about 1-1/2 to 3 hours travel time to manila (depending on the traffic and your final destination) by land, so keep this in mind if you have a connecting flight via another airline.
if you are heading to manila, go to the desk offering bus services (philtranco). there are 2 destinations in manila: megamall located in ortigas, pasig; and pasay which is closer to the international and domestic airports. one-way bus fares are 300php for megamall and 350php for pasay.
the trip to megamall would roughly be 2hrs. once there, you could either take a taxi or opt for public transportation such as bus, van (FX) or mrt (train). several taxi drivers would already approach you and offer you a ride. these drivers would normally take advantage of tourists and charge much higher than the normal metered cabs. if you are in a hurry, you could get one of these taxis and just bargain. depending on your final destination, average fare should be around 100-300pesos. if you want a metered taxi though, you would have to walk towards the mall. there is a taxi stand at the "bridge" or road in between the 2 buildings of the mall (about 3mins walk from where the bus would drop you off).
if you would like to take the public bus, you can get inside the mall first and exit at the other side where EDSA (main highway) is located. if you want to take the mrt (train), you would have to take a 5-8min walk to the nearest station (ortigas station). you can just ask around as to the direction going to the mrt. as with the van or locally referred to as FX, they have fixed destinations and are not always available. you can take this only if you are really familiar with your destination.
if you are getting off at pasay, you should be able to easily get a taxi there which would take you to the airport or wherever you are heading to.
