You can probably ask the Institute if they can accomodate you and take you on a tour of their facility. It's an interesting activity since the UP-MSI Bolinao Marine Laboratory is undertaking several researches (e.g. on sea urchins, giant clams, etc).

If you have a local contact in Bolinao you can probably ask him/her to take you out to the fishpens in Kakiputan Channel, Bolinao. You can time it so that you can watch the milkfish being fed their quota for the day.
