Lingayen Beach has one of the longest and widest shoreline I've seen. We had a long, leisurely walk along the shoreline. The sand is grayish and sticky. A couple of people also hanging around and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Several resting sheds can be found in the area for you to sit. A huge tree added beauty to the place. Indeed a very nice place. It is fast becoming a tourist destination. There's a resort hotel nearby for you to stay the night.
It is also worthy to note that General MacArthur landed on this beach during the Liberation of World War II.

Lingayen Capitol Building

This large federal style building was built pre-war. In January 1945, the capitol was damaged by bombardment. Today, it has been fully restored and is still in use as the Pangasinan Capitol building. It is located near the windy beach of Lingayen where General MacArthur landed during the Liberation of World War II.

Plaza behind the Pangasinan provincial capitol located at Lingayen. Provides us with a glimpse of history during World War II. It displays several memorial plaques, a pavilion with photograph gallery which includes the 1945 landings, and collection of American wartime relics, such as an aircraft, two tanks, 40mm anti-aircraft gun and a 6" gun. Directly behind the memorial was the American landing beach, Blue Beach.
