The restaurant has a nice location, in the rear of the main resort building. It's a porch-like area, looking out on the picnicking area with the beach in the distance. It has a sort of rustic elegance. The decor is bamboo and wooden rafters. The tables are covered by cloths, although they are somewhat worse for the wear. The chairs are plush velvet with wood carvings in the center of the chair backs. The food was just OK, probably about right for the price, but nothing to write home about. The service was mediocre; it took a while for me to catch a server's eye to get the check and even longer for him to come back with my change.
Favorite Dish: I've only eaten there once, but I tried the chicken steak with mushroom gravy. The skin of the chicken especially had a good flavor, and the gravy has a rather sweet taste, almost like a hint of maple syrup.

San Fabian: Land of Beach Resorts

We have visited San Fabian a couple of times, because it's one of the closest beaches to us. We only have visited the PTA beach resort, but there are plenty to chose from.
