There is no shopping to be had at Cagbalete Island. :) A really refreshing change from the pushy vendors and hawkers in other island resorts in the Philippines.
Cagbalete Island is a total nature trip and you have bring everything with you unless you've informed the Villa Cleofas management about your requirements (that'll cost you extra, of course!).
Erm, of course there is a "lambanog mafia" on the island (Joke!!!)
They can supply you with the best lambanog (according to my friends, that is) for your post dinner bonding. And of course there's always the perfectly cooled San Mig available on request. ;D

There are small stores on Cagbalete Island but the stores have limited selection and everything is more expensive because it had to be brought over from the mainland. So I suggest that before boarding the boat you better shop for food and other essentials that you may have forgotten to bring with you.

:) While not exactly a hop and a skip away from the rat-race that is Manila, Cagbalete Island in Mauban, Quezon is a good place to forget the stresses of city living. I have been to Mauban before......
