    Beach Dudes!

by machomikemd Updated Sep 20, 2008

    1 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Candelaria Town is known for it's clear waters and black sand beaches and this old picture is taken in Christian's Beach Resort in barangay Bignay II, it is the area of the town that is host to a number of beach resorts. Beach Resorts in are budget friendly and inexpensive, why? since this is a black sand beach that's why. The resort here are for those on a budget since they don't have diving facilities and large boats and jet skis.

    help! beach high!

by machomikemd Updated Aug 28, 2014

another restuarant specializing in the Crispy Pata (deep fried pork knuckles) and other assorted local dishes and is a rival to the nearby JIJT restaurant, who invented the Candelaria Style Salty and Savory Crispy Pata. It lies just a few blocks from the Maharlika Highway in Candelaria Town and it offers some of the Local Quzeon Dishes like the Crispy Pata, Pancit Hab Hab, the Sinampalukang Hipon (Prawns in Sour Soup) and other local native dishes.

Opens: 8:00 am to 7:00 pm everyday

Favorite Dish: the crispy pata off course, the Candelaria Style Crispy Pata is a little more salty than regular Crispy Pata but more savory and the meat is tasty even without a dipping sauce and it cost 450 pesos an order (dine in or to go). Sinampalukang Hipon will cost 440 pesos an order, pancit hab hab at 90 pesos an order.

    Gas Stations are cheaper here

by tanamay Updated Dec 17, 2012

Favorite thing: From the general directions of Manila and Laguna and you are traveling through Candelaria and beyond (to Quezon or to Bicol) fill your gas tanks in Candelaria.

There are at least three gasoline stations on your left which sell cheaper fuel (around a peso per liter cheaper than Metro Manila gas stations).

    (as of Sept 2012)
