Candelaria Town is known for it's clear waters and black sand beaches and this old picture is taken in Christian's Beach Resort in barangay Bignay II, it is the area of the town that is host to a number of beach resorts. Beach Resorts in are budget friendly and inexpensive, why? since this is a black sand beach that's why. The resort here are for those on a budget since they don't have diving facilities and large boats and jet skis.

From the general directions of Manila and Laguna and you are traveling through Candelaria and beyond (to Quezon or to Bicol) fill your gas tanks in Candelaria.
There are at least three gasoline stations on your left which sell cheaper fuel (around a peso per liter cheaper than Metro Manila gas stations).
