Riding a Jeep

This is the major transportation getting around Pasig City. Within 4 kms, jeepney fare is only Php 7.00. Then, succeeding kms would add I think around Php .50. Right now, Pasig City does not impose curfew hours... hence, jeepneys to and around Pasig City is 24hrs a day.

If you would like to save time on your trip going around Pasig City, there is another option that you can use. Try riding a small boat that crosses Pasig river. The one I know is just at the back of the barangay hall of Maybunga. Fare is only Php 2.00 (yes! it's not a typo error - it really is Php 2.00) For students, it is half of the price. This will take you from Brgy. Maybunga to Brgy. Ugong (back and forth). Just make sure that the weather is good because small boats doesn't cross if the current is strong (like on typhoon/ storm season).

Pasig City is a typical urban sprawl. A veritable canyon of high rises surrounded by ramshackle shanties straddling both sides of the once historic, now weed-choked Pasig River.
