Buffet featuring a Spanish Cuisine is available for 575 PHP at Alba. The place is cozy (the ground floor dining area is about 60 to 80 sqm) with a neatly arranged buffet table which accentuated each dish. It is notable that a lot of effort was placed in the smallest detail to make it look (and feel!) authentically spanish. Live music is provided by a trio who played the guitar, cello and maracas dressed in spanish style costumes. All in all, the dining experience is truly pleasurable.
Ala carte meals are also served in the place, but heck, would you settle for one dish when you could have a taste of their specialty at the same time?
Favorite Dish: The Callos is superb as the meat was so tender and the sauce is very flavorful. I also like the shellfish as the garlic was not as strong and blended well with the shellfish's meat.
My first time to try the food at Panciteria San Jacinto was in May 2004, during a friends' wedding. The pancit was excellent. And the other food were also good. This place has a nice, country ambience.
