    At Bonifacio Global City you will usually find a band playing whose members are blind. The music was quite good as they played non- stop for an hour while we had lunch.     If you find the food court just 200 m from the Metro Mall there are 10-20 stalls that sell biscuits, dried fruit, nuts etc from the different provinces of the Philippines that may be difficult to get elsewhere.     not exactly a tourist trap but a warning not to buy the ice cream. While we were eating at the food court outside Market! Market! in Bonifacio Global City a girl approached our table with a menu card for ice cream, so i ordered one but i was shocked when it arrived as it was in a tiny cup and it was gone in a couple of mouthfuls. I forget the pruce but it may have been around 40 pesos.

    Majority of Filipinos as Roman Catholics and one thing peculiar in the country is that you can find Roman Catholic Chapels along some of the Major Malls in the Country and one of the Most Unique will be the San Pedro Calungsod Chapel, located at the 7th floor of the SM Aura Complex, at the level of the Samsung Concert Hall. It is accesible vial the Samsung Concert Hall area or a small separate elevator from the SM Aura Mall Part of the Complex. San Pedro Calungsod was the assistant of Father Luis Sanvitores in Guam where they were both killed by local Chamorro Chief M' atapang in the 17th century, but only Pedro Calungsod is a Saint (see my Guam Pages). The Chapel is small and is built in a semicircular design.
