Buy Fresh Fish/Don't expect much from Restaurants.
Restaurants in Bongao don't basically serve fish dishes. We noticed this in 3 restaurants we tried. It seems the locals don't like them that much, overfed eh!. But for the visitors, it should be it. Oh, boy! Go to the public market where fish are a-plenty and very cheap. The best thing then to do is to buy fresh fish from the public market and let the restaurant of your choice do the cooking prepared as you wish. I prefer grilled or on sour soup. The cook will gladly do it for a reasonable fee.
