Getting Around Province of Tawi-Tawi

Seair has flights from Zamboanga-Jolo-Tawitawi but you have to check the website for updates

Flight time is a little over an hour (this could be due to stopover in Jolo.

I am putting this for my future reference as well.

(and I hate the woman in the picture, she seem headed for bed and not to travel)

As to this writing, Weesams Express travel from Zamboanga City to Bongao, the capital of Tawi-tawi every Monday and THursday and the schedule is as follows:

5:00am Leaves Zamboanga
8:00am Arrive in Jolo
12:30 pm Arrive in Bongao

Weesam leaves Bongao every Friday and Tuesday as follows
11:00am leaves Bongao
3:00pm arrive in Jolo
7:30pm arrive Zamboanga

Fare:
Regular economy is 1200
First class is 1400

There's a small airport in Bongao, Tawi-tawi and is serviced by a small plane when coming from Zamboanga City in mainland Mindanao. Seair, the airline, flies an 18-seater twin-prop airplane for their daily flights. Low-flying, the airplane gives the passengers an awesome view up above of never-ending string of islands rimmed with corals and white sandy shores during the one-hour flight.

Leave out the nervous and scary feeling when the plane gets to go through the clouds and rain when the weather is incooperative. I should know cause I've been there >> the smallest plane I ever took, and the worst flying experience for me in my whole life.
