The entrance fee at potipot island is 50 pesos per person at daytime while if you will stay overnight the fee is 100 pesos. I dont know why they were asking us to pay that fee. Because if it is a maintenance fee why there are many garbage in the island.

They now charge you 400 pesos for a back/forth trip. However, for some reason(economics of need or greed), the rates change if you plan to be fetched the next day. Though it makes no sense at all because you still use up the same amount of gas, we had to pay an additional 50pesos for that. While those planning a day trip are only charged 20pesos/head, it costs 100pesos per head to stay there overnight. Its a bit steep for a place with little or no amenities to speak of. I rather think its a scam as the woman you hand over the money to says her "amo" even wants to charge more because of all the "maintenance" they do.
