Anawangin General Tip

by moymoydtraveller

Trekking is safe in Anawangin my suggestion is start your trek as early as 1AM will take 5 hours average, but if your pace is fast will only take 4 hours. 2 weeks ago i was there, There is a restroom in Anawangin ( Casillas Style) there is also a water pump ( Poso ) but is not advisable to drink unless badly needed. Make sure to bring your food, drinking water, tent and blankets during nights in Anawangin are quite cold. If you will go there by sat or sunday there is actually a small store which you can buy some supplies like Soda, water, ice and some local alcoholic drinks. There are 3 spots in Anawangin to camp the first one is beside the swap has no trees its free, in the middle part 50 pesos per night, near the store 150 pesos unlimited number of days. My suggestion is stay at 150 they have tables to use for free and a lot of pine trees which can give you shade during the afternoon....
