Late Opening of Public Markets

by cyndymc

We left Manila at dawn for our road trip to Zambales, and hoped to go to market early to buy fresh seafoods and other foods & supplies that we would need for our camping. Because we took the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTX), we arrived at Zambales very early in the morning. Alas, the public markets in the towns we passed by weren't open yet. We learned that normal marketing time is 8am. Fortunately, the vendors allowed us to buy seafoods, meat, fruits & vegetables even before 8am. Perhaps, they took pity on us as we stood by the parking lot for a long time already.
