There are sandflies on the island. Please bring appropriate insect repellent.

Locals call them niknik.

Make your own repellent by mixing 1part baby oil, one part alcohol and one part lysol.

I spotted some Crown of Thorns feeding on the corals. Please DO NOT TOUCH them if you don't know how to handle these.
