 | Subic Restaurants | Tips 1 - 10 of 26 | | Since Subic Became a Free Port after the US NAvy Left in the 1990's , Meat Plus Steakhouse became a byword in Quality, Succulent Black Angus Steaks. A lot of stores and restaurants has come and gone here but Meat Plus is still Standing (just like my old picture) as it is a testament to it's quality of meats (especially steaks!) that they even opened branches in Metro Manila under the Tender Bob's Name. Meat Plus is Basically A Cafe/Steakhouse, it offers local and American Black Angus Steaks of different cuts and sizes (like ribe eye, porterhouse, t-bone, ground round, etc.) and some other stuffs like pasta, pizza's and soups.
what else but the black angus steaks (especially th rib eye, medium well). Local steaks cost about 300-400 with rice, buttered vegies and soups; pasta dishes cost about 250-300 pesos, burgers and Black angus Tapa's (filipino, not the spanish tapa ok!) at 150-300 pesos. Lengua estofado (ox's tongue in mushroom sauce) is about 250 pesos. In ordering the Angus Steaks, you would get them in a chest freezer and choose according to type and size (between 500 to 1500 pesos) and there is a cooking charge of 90 pesos (including rice and buttered vegies). they are char-grilled in a char grill according to your type of doneness (medium rare, medium well, well done, etc.) Open 10 am to 9:00 pm (Mon-Sun) Theme: SteakhousePrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than averageAddress: Sampson Rd. Try the pizza, tempura, fried rice and calamari's for Dinner with out rice. Im absolutely full, well, as we Philippines people do luv to eat rice. Break fast, lunch and dinner we do have rice in the table together with the dish. For that we are really full especially if the dish is like that and dessert with pizza. That sounds really yummy!...As american dont eat rice i mean they eat but not much as we like asian. This dinner might be good and okay for you!. Is friend rice for breakfast only? no i guess not!.. Eat it whatever time you want.

3 nights before my birthday my sister and I are decided to have dinner in the restaurant but of course not to order much as we don’t have money to pay for.. Its already 10 in the evening after my school I went home and drove in Subic bay by taxi. We ordered 3 dishes and 3 plain rice, both are full and one of the dishes is been take out since we don’t eat there because we are full already. This seashore line restaurant had good Filipino dishes with a banana leaf. As we are the only people who are eating every waiter’ s are waiting of us to be done and so they can go home too.
We eat as usual rice of course, squid, grill fish ' tilapya ' , pork, and the best is their Sinigang Shrimps. As we luv this kind of Filipino foods.... Chowking is one of the famous chinese foodchain in the Philippines. They have various branches around the country. They serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. But what I love here in Chowking is thier "HALOHALO", sort of filipino dessert! YUMMY! Halo-halo -from Tagalog word halo, "mix"- is a Filipino dessert that is a mixture of crushed ice and milk to which are added various boiled sweet beans and fruits, macapuno, leche plan, ube and served cold in a tall glass or bowl with ice cream on top. The place is still crowded and full even though it was already past 1pm when we arrived the place. Anyhow, they have al fresco dining but it was hot due to summer season. As recommended by my brother, we ordered the giant 22" Big Ben pizza. This is the biggest pizza I have ever seen. We also tried their Thai noodles and 2 pasta for lunch. Budget friendly restaurant. Good food. I never had the chance to sneek inside the restaurant nor taste the famous coffee which is one of their item to be proud of.
