Great place to go if you haven't been to sea world. Dolphin and false killer whales are the main attractions. They also have some sea lions, with their own shows. You can finish the whole area in 2 hours or less. Entrance fee is around 400 pesos or less.

Go to Extreme Adventure Park inside SBMA & prepare yourself for an extreme escapade. For 300 Php you'll have the time of your life riding on canopy slide, crossing the hanging bride & just the nature view of the place. Separate rate is applicable for wall climbing.

When you go to Ocean Adventure, you have to check out all the buildings. If you see a door, check what's inside it. In between the 3 shows, you have some time to walk around and explore. We saw pics of the false killer whales and seals at the Learning Center building.
Aren't they adorable?

Ocean Adventure is the first and only Open-Water Marine Park in Southeast Asia.
It is no Sea World, the area is quite small and the collection of animals are modest but I'm proud to say that this is one of the cleanest Theme Parks I've been to in the Philippines. And judging from the condition of the animals, they are very well cared for.
I highly recommend visiting Ocean Adventure specially for Filipinos who still haven't been to marine parks in other countries. (Coz those who have expect so much and get disappointed) But if you view from a child's perspective, you'd really enjoy the place. Good for showing the children the importance of caring for our environment.

Hm.. I only noticed that the menfolk might notice the legs more than the sea lion. As much as I'd like to claim these legs are mine. hehehe... I took the pic as one of the sea lions were on their way to the performance area.
The animals are well taken cared of, that much I can say. And as much as I dont like seeing animals in captivity, I think the park owners were able to balance commerical gains with fostering awareness of the importance of caring for the marine environment. Since the establishment of the theme park, the waters in Subic were kept very clean. The park is in the sanctuary area and the marine biologists (I heard from my vet friend) help the local government study the waters.
The sea lions reminded me of my dogs. I can't help but wish I own one too. They are great performers and seem to enjoy their jobs very much.

ZOOBIC, a great zoo for kids wherein you get to see a real hungry tiger being fed while on a JEEPNEY. It has a tour of 1.5hrs wherein you get to see some different animals just roaming beside you.

Swim thru the water or visit the different small nearby islands (eg. snake island) or just rest on the beach side will surely complete your subic adventure.
