Sun Bloom: Cheaper Option

This is a few steps from Dawal. While no bands play here anytime of the week, and while it does not have a restaurant, Sun Bloom has concrete tables where you can hole-out to while-away your evening (even at daytime actually)

On ground floor (beach side of course), there is a videoke machine (where you drop five-peso-coins to make it work) but the beer here (P24) is enormously cheaper than you get at Dawal!

The 2nd level azotea//balcony/foyer/whatever is a nice place to watch the sunset, have a night-cap or drink-and-be-merry!

Dress Code: just don't strip!

Dawal Beach Resort and Restaurant: If you can't chat, DRINK... and sing!

As mentioned, Dawal has live bands playing on Saturdays. But all other days of the week there is virtually no nightlife entertainment on this strip other than the Videoke Machine at Sun Bloom and some other resorts.

But we discovered that Dawal will actually let you do the very same "croaking madness" right at their stage (where the bands play on Saturdays) with your videoke flashed by a projector to a wide screen. THAT is for a minimum of P500 order of food and drinks!

If you can't be happy chit-chatting with your companions on the dark beach under the stars, this is a nice bargain if there were 4 or more of you! Why? Because beer costs P35 per bottle, so 10 of those will already be P350. And you will surely order food. Thus, P500 is easily "achievable"!

Dress Code: Just don't go naked! This is still the Republic of the Philippines!
