Salo: Videoke Galore!

by janbonivic

Salo Bar and Restaurant is located inside the Legend Hotel, one of the premiere hotels in Puerto Princesa City.A videoke room may be rented for about 4 hours for Php1,500.00, consumable. There are only 4 videoke rooms, named S-A-L-O. Thus, a reservation is advisable. There's also a live music performing every night at the bar and restaurant.Opens at 6pm until 2am.

Scenario Bar: Hangout!

by janbonivic

This is just one of the very few hangout places I suggest around the City.Located inside Asturias Hotel, one of the premier hotels in the City, I would say it's safe to drink, party and even just listen to the live band performing every night (except Sundays) which starts at around 10 in the evening until 2 in early morning. Most people who come here are the Hotel's guests who just want to relax and spend their time off.Opens at 6pm until 2am.

Kamarikutan: Quiet cup of coffee

by monina_c

"Kamarikutan" according to a Palaweno I asked means "forest" in local dialect. This Kamarikutan is a mix of art gallery and restaurant situated in the middle of a mini-bamboo grove/forest. It is a good place to visit to view the works of some local artists while having a cup of post-dinner coffee or tea. There are a lot of comfortable seating areas that ensure privacy. When we visited Kamarikutan there were only 2 other groups besides us. They also sell souvenirs and art works which are a cut above the rest that can be found in other shops in the city. Being so, expect to pay more for the privilege. :) Relaxed and laid-back... shorts and tank tops are okay. So are rubber sandals.

Naughty Bar: Karaoke Bar!

by machomikemd

Like any town, Puerto Princesa has it's share of adult nitespots and here in the Philippines, Bar Girls are called Guest Relation Officers (GRO) and Puerto Princesa has a smattering of these Videoke Bars that offer not only Music but "extra activites" (get the drift). You can ask any tricycle driver for the location of these bars but beware, ladies drinks in these places are atrocious at 350 pesos an order and beer cost 120 pesos an order.

Kinabuch: Beer time

along J. P. Rizal ave.: HHWW

by crimson722

After candle light dinner at Ka Lui restaurant, walking at J. P. Rizal going to Plaza is the best way to loosen up your full stomach. Enjoy the night lights and blinking lights of different bar. You can pass by at Kinabuch where you can have 2 bottles of beer before going back to your hotel. casual

KINABUCH's Grill & Bar: The sporty hangout in PPC

by dindo_m

A swanky night-spot good for after-dinner activities. Yes, you may also have your dinner there and there are choices in the menu from whatever to whatever! This place is frequented by the local middle-to-upper class. Reason why the compound has a big parking space right in front of the "al-fresco" tables. Most notable is the wide-screen projected cable TV where most especially sports events are nice to watch over bottles of beer. Then again, music videos and even NGC are a cosntant fare on-screen when NBA or the world cup is not in season!Crowd is generally tame and mostly of the office-worker type sporadically spiced by the politicians and the "well-to-do" characters in town! The subdued music at dinnertime climbs up to a bumpy beat blaring from expensive speakers all over the place as the night grows deeper into twilight. Some tables are literally on the open and just beside or accross...

Al Fresco: Acoustic Jam

by monina_c

Al Fresco is located along Rizal Avenue about 7 minute tricycle ride from the airport. It is a good place to have post-dinner coffee. The place features an acoustic duo composed of young singers from the church choir! :) they are good and would entertain requests from the audience. you can even sing with them if you like (our friend hans did!) The place is very laid back so shorts and rubber sandals are okay.

Bistro Gerardo: Singing time

by rmcuesta
