I love this place so much I enrolled for MS immediately after completing my BS degree. If you are in Quezon City, be sure to drop by the University of the Philippines campus. It's a breath of fresh air, especially if you're tired of the buildings and traffic.
Enter the campus from the Quezon Circle/Commonwealth side so you can go through the University Avenue and the Quezon Hall, where the famous Oblation (statue) is. You can also walk around the academic oval, under the shade, courtesy of the large trees forming a canopy over the path... There are food vendors all around the place so you don't have to worry about going hungry. :)

Although this is a Diliman page, all of my tips and info (so far) are about the University of the Philippines, where I studied in college. In fact, I don't know Diliman apart from UP.
